The purpose of the MCNP-PAC is to address legislative issues that involve access, cost and quality of health care, legislation that affects nurse practitioner scope of practice in Massachusetts, and issues that affect the educational requirements of nurse practitioners. MCNP formally filed its application to start a Political Action Committee in May 2005. |

The PAC serves to create guidelines for donating to candidates, to develop fundraising ideas, and to strategize, with the help of our lobbyists and legislative committee, on how best to raise the visibility of NP issues to legislators. |
