First MCNP Legislative Advocacy Award– 2007 Awarded to Leah Callan for her tireless efforts on behalf of the nurse practitioner profession over the years and her commitment to legislative issues. |

Second MCNP Legislative Advocacy Award– 2008 Awarded to Senate President Therese Murray. She has been a strong advocate for nurse practitioners and recognizes us as a solution to the access issue facing the Commonwealth. We are grateful for all of the support she has given us as we seek passage of our PCP bill. On May 7, 2008 Leah McKinnon-Howe and Leah Callan presented the Senate President with the award. |
